Wednesday, 6 May 1981

From the pañchāṅga
Śukla Tṛtīyā begins6 May, 2:09 AM
Ends6 May, 10:48 PM
ObservanceMadhyāhna, midday worship
Observed on the day Tṛtīyā prevails at midday; some traditions instead take the sunrise tithi, which can fall a day apart in some years.
How it is observed
No fast: the “imperishable third” is kept by beginning auspicious things, giving in charity (dāna), and worshipping Viṣṇu and Lak ṣmī; whatever is begun or given today is said never to diminish.
